Check Outlet Wiring, Measure Voltage, And Use Your Clamp Meter To Measure Current Up To 15A Without Breaking The Circuit. Simply Use A Clamp Meter Around The X1 Position For A Direct Current Reading Or Use The X10 Position To Display Low Current Readings Multiplied By 10. You Can Also Detect Faulty Wiring In 3-Wire Receptacles. Built-In Lights Display 5 Wiring Faults Including Open Ground, Open Neutral, Hot/Ground Reverse, Open Hot, And Hot/Neutral Reverse. There Is An Easy-To-Read Fault Label On Each Side, Useful For Receptacles With Ground Up Or Ground Down Installation.
