The Steinel 34102 SV 800 dual temperature heat gun emits airstreams at temperatures of 600 and 950 degrees F. The heating element is reinforced to extend coil life and has a ceramic disk to provide even heat. The gun’s circuitry is encased in injection-molded plastic to prevent disconnection, and the fully enclosed slide switch and secured power cord help ensure reliability. A thermal fuse in the heating element protects against overheating. Similar in shape to a hair dryer, the gun is lightweight and balanced to reduce fatigue. A carrying case is included for safe transport and storage. This heat gun is suitable for many applications from welding plastics and working adhesives to stripping paint and touching up shrink wrap.
