Having the right material for the job makes all the difference on the job site. Use QUIKRETE Mortar Mix for your everyday mortar needs like bricklaying, concrete masonry units, stones, and more. This pre-blended mix of masonry cement and graded sand is designed for optimal hold and is formulated to meet ASTM C 270 for type N mortar. The simple to use formula just requires the addition of water and mixing for a minimum of 5 minutes. For ideal application apply a full bed of mortar onto the base at approximately 1/2-inch to 3/14-inch thick, push the block down into the mortar bed with a slight twisting motion for ideal adhesion. Versatility is key, and QUIKRETE's Mortar Mix can be used for repairs on barbeques, pillars, walls, planters, and for tuck-pointing mortar joints for maximum versatility and convenience.
