Earthquake Sound Corporation is the original inventor of the Shallow Woofer System (SWS) that produces a lot of bass from a small space. They are a popular choice for replacing OEM car speakers with shallow mounting depths. In addition to OEM applications, the SWS series are the perfect bass solution for any car. Many factories are now using woofers in small areas. To improve your bass, simply replace the factory speakers with the SWS woofers no need for extensive modifications to accommodate large subwoofers.
• Enjoy rich, full-bodied sound with articulation and dynamics from this shallow mounting 6.5" subwoofer with up to 200 Watts Max and 100 Watts RMS power handling
• Shallow 1.75 in. (45mm) mounting depth allows for flexible placement options that provides more bass from less space with less power than conventional subwoofer designs
• SWS-6.5X features a ribbed and inverted polypropylene cone, fastened high-temperature aluminum dust cap and voice coil, high roll pressed-foam surround, NOMEX/ROMEX spider assembly, and a strong ferrite magnet
• A sealed enclosure is recommended with an internal volume of 0.2 cu. ft. / 5.66 L minimum and a 0.4 cu. ft. / 11.32 L maximum
