CAMP Druid Pro is a self-locking descender designed for semi-static ropes with a diameter of 10 to 11 mm, intended for skilled users and ideal for work on inclined surfaces. The device is compact and lightweight, featuring a forged aluminum alloy body and lever, while the mechanical components are made from precision-cast stainless steel. Unlike the CAMP Druid (click here to view the product), the Druid Pro lacks an "anti-panic" function. Instead, its cam has a sliding surface that delivers gradual friction control. In the event of a fall or a load on the safety chain, anchor, rope, or operator, this device reduces the load by 40% compared to conventional systems. Druid Pro is certified both as a descender and belay device, meeting several standards: EN 12841/C: Certified as a working descender for users up to 120 kg, also suitable for rescue maneuvers up to 200 kg. EN 341/2A: Certified for emergency descent on a single rope with a maximum user weight of 120 kg, using 11 mm semi-static rope. EN 15151-1: Certified for climbing techniques with dynamic ropes ranging from 9.9 to 11 mm in diameter. Druid Pro also performs well for ascending, allowing for easy rope sliding and retrieval.
