The Timo Boll Spirit Blade consist of one of the most stable attack carbons in the butterfly line, which is the Arylate Carbon Fibers. The Arylate is a popular choice because of the features that allow the attacker to freedom to attack effortlessly, while maintaining control and feel. The AL carbon are know for being light weight, high flexibility, while having a high amount of shock absorbing ability. The ALC fiber creates great speed and the feeling gives you the sensation the ball is staying on the racket longer. For having a compact head, the Timo Boll Spirit does have a large sweetspot. This blade has an average weight of 87gm, with a blade thickness of 5.7mm. The handle size of the FL is 101x24mm, and the ST comes in at 100x22. The recommendation rubbers line for this blade is the Tenergy's. The Tenergy 05 is the rubber that has the highest arc, and the short travel path on the table. The Tenergy 80 is has the second highest arc, with the ball landing mid-distance on the table. The Tenergy 64 has the low trajectory, but has the longest travel path landing closest to the end of the table. If you are looking for more feel and a slightly deeper ball travel on the table, then the FX version of these rubber will work effectively. To add more grip to this blade you can get the Soft Grip Tape. It provides grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice for racket care is adding side tape to the blade. It can protect the wood in the event it is hit on the edge or on top of the table.
