The weight of 19 pounds is more than two gallons of milk sustained at arm's length. Person who can manage this should have ability to assemble correctly. This represents considerable weight, and any monitor stand that can handle such a load while remaining useful must be robustly constructed. I suggest you read the directions. They are quite simple to understand for individuals who have previously set up a monitor arm, but step #3 in the handbook did not specify how much strength is required to rotate the spinning bracket that connects to the brace on the back of your screen. It needed significant force before it moved and finally I had to temporarily fasten it onto my monitor so as get some additional leverage while turning. Other than that, it went right together. The solidity of this feels somewhat superior to another one I utilized before. However, there is an issue with its arm - it wasn't suitable for the monitor which I had planned to use alongside it. The square part measuring approximately 4.75" seemed slightly too big for my own monitor. To make it suitable, each of the four corners would have to be cut because there was little space. I'm uncertain if this is due to the monitor or arm bracket. A different bracket fitted my chosen monitor and its arm replaced the one that came with this set. I was not expecting and it took a few extra minutes to install. The support structure for this arm felt very snug, including with this one, but in a different manner. The strength needed to rotate the last adjustable part to stabilize the screen had me questioning its standard. It looks formidable though. and the cost is acceptable. I wouldn't object to a bit more length, particularly in the upper arm area, but it suits well. It's certainly simpler to tighten compared with another one that has been used for some time. I cannot truly criticize it, and I was prepared to utilize a grinder or dremel because the clearance nearly wasn't sufficient. It is uncertain how many individuals would prefer this additional step in an office scenario or any other setting. Using longer screws might have been effective also since they all share the same width. To each their own. For checking purposes, I took my tape measure. Both arms are functioning correctly at present, yet the newer one almost went back after realizing it was incompatible with my fresh monitor and adjusting its angle posed trouble. The rotation remains challenging even now without any discernible means of adjustment for that aspect. When installing, the four holes for mounting were properly aligned all over. However, this arm's bigger bracket didn't match with new monitor's 4.5x4.5" space and screws length was not sufficient to balance out the issue. It fitted nicely with two old monitors though. A square mount area of 4.75" made it possible for snug fit of bracket which in turn enabled installation of newly bought arm. Please, you can consider this when making your decision. However, I do not find any measurements of the flat mounting bracket's actual area on the new monitor and it was not a low-cost model.
