The weight carry strap is made for comfort .Once you dive in the our AKM Harness you will never want to dive in a traditional weight belt again.The unique quick release system has been designed so as the ring jumps into action as soon as the release clips are pressed thus making it easy to ditch weights , in an emergency, the system also works well when diving from a rib were there is a need to remove the weights to exit the water It is strong and easy to put on .and the weight carrying pockets have additional Velcro to hold the weights in place. as time moves on the Velcro can cause weights to fall out which is potential lethal AKM have made the security of the weight pockets of prime concern system,This harness has non of the problems that a cheep strap harness has in tangling and difficultly to put on as the comfy strap is 9 cm thick .for the shoulders It is also fitted with an array of quality Poly-carbonate D rings for the TECY divers who may wish to hang staging cylinders or other equipment.again unlike many of its competitors who fit plastic clips that of course are not as strong.Seal go for strength and quality As This is straight from the factory,the price reflects that .with no middle man ! so WHY PAY MORE This harness has a unique pocket release system found on no other harness and had been rigorously tested by one of the Uk top Scuba Diving Magazines ( Scuba Dive The BASC official diving magazine-aug2012 )
