Scamp Grouper Half Mounts Scamp Groupers are relatively small compared to other groupers. For their lack of size they make up for it with their unparalleled appearance. Our Scamp Grouper half mounts are anatomically correct half fish replicas that are intended to be displayed on the wall. A half sided mount is made by casting the front part of a two sided full mount mold. When up on the wall the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts times and material costs and therefore results in a lower selling price even though the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional mount.
