The Yale Security Letterplate conforms to BS EN 1670:2007 for added corrosion protection and has a UV stable finish, meaning that the sun will not fade the colour. It includes a security cowl that prevents visibility, attacks and reduces the risk of access to internal locks and keys. The flap has a 147 Degree opening that provides generous access for posting mail and thumb handles for ease of use. External foam seal and internal brushes for weather protection and heat loss prevention, for added energy efficiency. Suitable for PVCu and Composite doors. This letterbox has a silver finish. Dimensions: Height: 300 mm Length: 67 mm Width/Door fit: 38-78 mm Yale have a diverse range of letterplates suited to your needs. The Platinum range combines elegant, eye catching designs with sturdy construction and long service life. The Security range is a high security line that comes with a cowl, preventing visibility inside your residence and protecting against letterplate attacks. The standard and essentials ranges have a variety of colours and finishes and are easy to fix. How to fit a letterbox: 1. Measure the size of the letterplate: Length, height, and then make sure that the width of the door is suited for the product you chose. 2. If you purchased a bigger letterbox than your current one or you have chosen a different model, make sure that you cut the door to fit the required dimensions. 3. Place the letterplate over the cutting and tighten the screws, while aligning the fixings correctly.
