The Tekonsha 7 Way Blade Tester and Trailer Emulator is used for the proper installation and set-up of a brake control when a trailer is not readily available. Brake control set-up is accomplished using a built-in load module that will simulate electric magnet brakes on a trailer. (The emulator will also check electrical continuity of all circuits in the 7-Way blade style connector.) Built-in, red LED lights illuminate to show each function is working, including stop, turn, reverse, tail light, electric brake, and auxiliary power functions. The Tekonsha trailer emulator simulates load of electric brakes, making it ideal for setting up brake controls without a trailer. Trailer light tester plugs into 7-way RV-style flat blade socket on tow vehicle. Compatible with Tekonsha, Draw-Tite, and select brake controllers, including 2013 and older Ford OEM brake controllers.
