Nagoya Rinkai Railway is a Rinkai Railway that started in 1965 to accommodate the increased amount of cargo as the Nagoya Rinkai Industrial Area.
The ND552 type is a locomotive that appeared at the time of the business and exist a former Japanese DD13 type vehicle, but the No. 3 model was characterized by replacing the car body with the DD13 shape in the later years.
