(1)------Here are some notice for your new arrival plants: (a)-Water Water before sunrise or after sunset to allow the plants to dry off to prevent sunburn and keep healthy. Avoid excessive watering for these and never allow cactus containers to sit in water. Water only when the soil is dry. (b)-Location At home, locate container cactus in dappled shade on the south and west-facing exposures and in full sun on north and east exposures. Remember, plants in the sunniest areas will require a bit more water. (c)-Sunlight Most cactus do well inside during the summer; just don't put them too close to a window that gets much sun. (2)------Low care doesn't mean "no care". Check on the condition of your cactus regularly to prevent or correct many of the things that keep them from looking their best. Some cactus are winter growers and may appear ailing or dead during summer months when they are dormant. (3)------To ensure the health of cactus, they need porous, well-draining soil to live in. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage. Cactus require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. Water thoroughly when soil is dry. Cut back on watering during the fall and winter month.
