Mushrooming in the Seweryn family is a tradition cultivated for generations. Our specialty is high-end dried mushrooms. It started with a great-great-great-thy who almost 100 years ago was buying and selling mushrooms. He bought them all over Poland, obtaining the largest quantities of them – as we do today – from forests located in the south of Poland. The main recipients of great-grandfather's products were small shops, stalls and restaurants, and their transport took place by van or rail. • There is nothing quite like the aroma of Polish forest mushrooms to bring back memories of Christmas eve dinner. They add a perfect flavor to home made bigos, kapusta or mushroom soup. Be aware when purchasing Polish dried mushrooms that they are graded for quality by category number. The finest quality are Category 1 and that is the only kind we stock. These loose caps are larger than those on the string.
• How to Store: If you are not planning on consuming them right away keep dried mushrooms in an airtight container in a cool, dark place like the refrigerator.
• The highest quality of products is an absolute obligation for us. We continually take care of the minutest details while continuously improving the processing process. Continuous monitoring of the mushroom-grower with certificate No. 1824 on the processing and packaging of mushrooms ensures high quality of our products. Each product is certified.
