SIEMENS 2P 60A 240V General Duty Safety Switch Outdoor, Non-Fusible
Siemens General Duty Safety Switches are intended for applications where reliable performance and continuity of service are needed, but where duty requirements are not severe and usual service conditions prevail. These switches are intended for use primarily with supply circuits rated 240V AC or less where the available fault current is less than 100,000A when used with Class R or T fuses, or 10,000A max when used with Class H fuses. All switches are provided with imbedded "ON" and "OFF" indicators and padlocking provisions on the handle and door. All switches are UL listed. Fuses not included on fusible device. Use HA type hubs if required.

Siemens offers a wide array of thermal-magnetic circuit breakers that are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your home's electrical system. To provide additional protection Siemens offers circuit breakers to protect against severe electrical shock or electrocution, mitigate the risk of electrical fires and protect against damaging surges and Voltage spikes. Circuit breakers are intended for switching and protection of your home's wiring from high temperatures caused by excess current higher than the rating of the wire. While thermal-magnetic circuit breakers are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your electrical system, there are potentially dangerous conditions that do not involve over current. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so.
Siemens plug in circuit breakers are intended for use in Siemens EQ, Siemens Ultimate, ITE, and Gould load centers or meter combinations. The double pole Siemens breakers may be used in 1 or 3-phase load centers and are 240V rated. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required.
• Includes (2P) 60A 240V non-fusible general duty safety switch with visible blade double-break switch action for positive operation along with 50A 240V type QP circuit breaker for overload and short-circuit protection (from SIEMENS Q250).
• Safety switch has durable ON/OFF indication embedded in steel door, quick-make and quick-break mechanism.
• Circuit breaker provides 10,000A interrupting rating and plug-in connections compatible with SIEMENS PL and ES series load centers.
• Safety switch intended for 240V AC or less applications with fault current less than 100,000A with Class R or T fuses.
