Its optimized thicker glass makes it very durable. It is easy to clean and does not absorb the taste of tea. Microwave and freezer safe glass body. Note! Swill with hot water before using in the microwave oven and remove statinless steel infuser. Dishwasher top racks safe but preferably hand washed with non-scratch pads and cleansers.
