Material:steel Finish:Zinc plated It has 6 mounting holes and will work on most garage doors such as wood gate ,metal gate ,vinyl gate 1 Consist of a spring-action slide bolt locking mechanism 2 designed to mount flush on the interior of the garage door 3 has a release mechanism that safely releases tension on the spring-action slide bolt and disengaged the slide bolt Usage guideline: 1:make sure you have slots on the garage side rails and space before purchasing (if you’re adding this to your automatic or manual garage door) 2:You have to manually unlatch this latch before you open the garage door 3:Having 2 deadlocks on opposite sides (Installed 1 on each side ) provides better security 4: they come with a hole in the end so we can put a keyed pad lock on to better secure the building 5: if someone had a remote controlled deadbolt on a separate frequency. This way even if they spoof your door opener, the dead bolt will stay locked 6: when you assemble them on the left side of the door. If flipped the lock over, to assemble on the right side the slide would no longer match the cutout in the track. The solution is to disassemble the lock and change the slide direction. It was very easy and takes less than a minute to do
