This product works, tastes fine, and a bonus is it rinses out of the sink much more easily than toothpaste. It is true that it arrives in a dusty pouch - I think the transport just jangles the tin too much. I didnt notice anything to indicate the product was affected in any way.

I cannot praise this product enough. It contains a mild abrading agent which is so effective that it cuts my tooth brushing time by 90% and I still get dentist-approved check-ups. It is just amazing stuff--after brushing my teeth are slick and whitened. It does not take much to brush ones teeth--this is how I use it: I take an empty jar top and shake a quantity of the powder into it. When I want to brush, I wet the brush and then dip it into the powder. I put the top with all the unused powder aside until next time. The dipped brush does not take up much powder but it is enough to clean the entire mouth and tongue. In short, I have found this product more economical and more effective than any toothpaste. I should add two things: 1) more than thirty-five years of use have not injured my tooth enamel and 2) astoundingly, the product comes from India and is mailed certified, signature required.
