One pound, 454 grams, of Andrographis Paniculata Herb in cut pieces. This plant is also sometimes known as Green Chiretta or kariyat. The Pin Yin name is Chuan Xin Lian. Andrographis Paniculata; Herba is the Botanical Name. Cut herbs are generally very good for steeping into a tea or boiling in a decoction, but this herb is extremely bitter. Because of the terrible taste, this cut herb may be more easily consumed as a liquid extract or tincture.
