Product Description
Allen & Heath's ICE-16D USB Recorder and 16-Input/16-Output Audio Interface can record 16 tracks simultaneously to a USB flash drive. Simply plug outputs from an analog mixer (direct outs, inserts, aux bus, etc.) into the 2 D-Sub inputs, insert a flash drive and press record. No computer required. The ICE-16D records WAV files at resolutions up to 48kHz/24-bit. Drop them into any DAW and you're ready to mix. The ICE-16D has functionality beyond live recording. With rear panel FireWire 400 and USB-B ports, it also functions as an audio interface, compatible with Mac and PC. It also has 16 outputs on 2 D-Sub connectors for full routing capability. The front panel of the ICE-16D features 16 Monitor Select buttons, which allow you to isolate channels through the mono headphones bus. You can choose to listen to channels from the input section or output section. The front panel has 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch mono headphone outputs with a globally adjustable level. Additionally, the ICE-16D features transport buttons for playback control of audio recorded to its front panel USB-A flash drive input. Allen & Heath is known for building high quality mixers for the last 40-plus years.
