This new 40 cubic foot B steel acetylene cylinder with a new CGA520 valve installed is a great sized tank to get you through the bigger jobs. These are thick-walled top-quality steel construction cylinders, finished in rust-resistant black or grey paint. Premium Construction Made with durable steel bodies Cylinders include thick-painted walls Quality Features - 40 cu ft Acetylene B 40 cu ft Acetylene B does not contain acetone *Please note - This cylinder may be black or grey paint. 6.5" diameter x 23.25" height (with valve) Valve body with fusible metal safety. Calcium silicate filler, asbestos-free, reinforced with alky-resistant glass fiber DOT- and TC-approved A New CGA520 valve installed Consistent tare weight Great for soldering, brazing, heating, cutting, and welding Ships empty Please note: Acetylene cylinders require a shell inspection every 10 years. They also require an initial porous filler inspection at 5-20 years from the date of the manufacturer. This test is to be done no sooner than 5 years and no later than 20 years from the date of manufacturer. The Shell inspection is marked with an 'S' and the Porous Fill inspection is marked with an 'F'.
